When the tower closes the airspace usually reverts to Class E, or to Class G where no surface area is charted — the Chart Supplement entry says which, and the hours are on the sectional. A surface area normally extends to 2,500 ft above the field, with the ceiling charted in a dashed blue box as a number in hundreds of feet.
